Indigenous Staff Education College Scholarships for Aboriginal


The Education College Scholarships successful applicant can take 12 months leave from their jobs to study full time in their chosen fields. They receive up to $ 23,600 as living expenses and up to $ 11,800 for tuition fees and student contribution amount for this year. Figures are indexed each year.

Postdoctoral Research Assistant Education College Scholarships


This Education College Scholarships project is part of a larger initiative in the Mathematics Department related to energy.

The Education College Scholarships successful candidate will be expected to have a PhD awarded, or a Masters degree and PhD submitted, at the time of taking up the post in mathematics or a related discipline and a good record of research in mathematical modelling. This interdisciplinary research project requires you to be able to work as part of a team and have strong written, verbal, and presentational skills.

You will be required to upload a supporting statement setting out how you meet the selection criteria, a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, details of teaching experience, a statement of research interests, and the names and contact details of two referees as part of your online application. Emphasis is placed on those who have attended courses given since 2001.
Applicants must have a graduate program that strengthen their research skills and conservation are important in their own country.

PhD Education College Scholarships Student Positions at IN3


The IN3 announces that the call for selection of PhD Education College Scholarships students for the next academic course will be open in April. This call will offer positions for both full-time students (grant holders), who will develop their research face to face at the IN3’s facilities -with a 3-year scholarship grant- and also part-time students, who will develop their research through an online methodology. The programme has three different specialisations: Information and Knowledge Society, Network and Information Technologies and e-learning.

Education College Scholarship Programme for Researchers in the field of Classics

Furthermore the Department of Classics has a renowned international reputation in the field of historical humanities.
Call for Proposals
In close cooperation with the Department of Classics at Brown University, the Gerda Henkel Foundation offers outstanding scholars in Classics an opportunity for academic research in the USA. The goal of this scholarship is to strengthen the academic exchange between established scholars from the USA and German-speaking countries. The Gerda Henkel Scholarship is awarded every two years. It covers the costs for one academic year (i.e. September to May) at Brown University, the costs of a substitute for a period of nine months at the scholar’s home university as well as support for travel and other research-related expenses. The Gerda Henkel Foundation will also cover 50 percent of the housing costs. The other half will be covered by Brown University. During the period of funding, the grant holders have no teaching obligations. The scholarship is awarded bi-annually.
Eligibility
Eligible candidates must:
  • currently be employed by a German-speaking university or comparable academic research institution
  • hold at least a PhD degree and demonstrate superior academic achievements
  • give at least one lecture on their research interests during their stay at Brown, be available for occasional discussions with interested graduate students, and generally take part in the intellectual and social life of the Department of Classics
  • present the results of their research at Brown to the Gerda Henkel Foundation, in a report and/or academic publication

Application
All applications must be submitted in English language to the Foundation’s headquarters and will be reviewed by a scientific advisory committee. Members of the selection committee and Foundation staff are not eligible for the Gerda Henkel Scholarship.
